Jacques Bermon Webster II (born April 30, 1991) is better known under his stage name Travis Scott (formerly stylized as Travi$ Scott), is a popular American rapper, singer and songwriter as well as record producer. His stage name is the amalgamation of the name of his beloved uncle and the initials of Kid Cudi (whose real identity is Scott Mescudi), Scott signed his debut major-label contract in 2012 with Epic Records. Scott signed a record deal with Epic Records and T.I. Scott also signed a record deal with Epic and T.I. Scott's debut long-form project, Owl Pharaoh, was self-released in the year 2013. In 2013 Scott self-released the mixtape Owl Phaoh. A second mixtape, Days Before Rodeo was released in 2014. Rodeo (2015) was his first studio album by the artist. The single that became a hit "Antidote" was the main track. His second album Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) hit number one on the Billboard 200. Scott dropped Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) together with Quavo under the collective name Huncho Jack. In the year 2018, Astroworld was released to critical acclaim. It produced his first Billboard Hot 100 top 100 single, "Sicko Mode" feat. Drake. In the latter part of 2019, Scott's label Cactus Jack Records released the compilation album JackBoys which debuted at the top of the Billboard 200. After the single "Franchise", Scott (featuring Young Thug) and M.I.A. were released, it reached the top spot on the Billboard 200. in 2020, Scott became the first artist on the Hot 100 to have three songs debut at number one within less than a year.
